John Scheithauer
John Scheithauer
  • Owner of Shytower Event Audio, LLC
  • Engineers that are also musicians ALWAYS make the best engineers since they understand both sides of the stage
  • John has provided technical support for audio and lighting at many major shows that were produced in the bi-state area
  • Shytower Event Audio provides professional audio and lighting for corporate, private, and community concert events
  • John has a huge inventory of sound and lighting equipment so we can provide absolutely anything that you need for your event
  • We have an extensive network capability with other local production companies allowing us to collaborate for YOUR successful event
John is responsible for the great sound and lighting (see below) at each performance of Spectrum Band. John's music career started in the 70's as a guitarist on the east coast club circuits and a studio musician. He was a guitarist and audio engineer in the US Air Force Band for the decade of the 80's touring the world. In 2006 Shytower Event Audio, LLC was born providing production for the Smash Band at events in St Louis for the Rams, Cardinals, fund raisers and weddings. Currently, Shytower Event Audio LLC has grown to become a premier production company in St. Louis and is a partner/dealer for several audio and lighting manufactures. All of the audio and lighting equipment provided by Shytower Event Audio, LLC is new state-of-the art equipment. John recently purchased a second brand new PA system console that provides CD quality sound for our guests and he always provides a continually upgraded LED lighting system so that you and your guests will have an evening that's just as visually dazzling as it is musically engaging. Don't let the stage size in the pictures below mislead you since we can fit in any venue. We use a sophisticated in-ear monitoring system that eliminates the need for lots of stage monitors (speakers for musicians) scattered about on the stage. We can set the band up in a very small space relative to other bands our size.
